The Club Archives
The Club has been on its current site since the start of the twentieth century, and had a prior existence in Brighton for forty years before that, so it has a lot of history behind it. Unfortunately it has not always been to attentive to look after that history so there are plenty of gaps. Work goes on slowly to fill those gaps and the result of that work can be seen on this website principally.
What's on the website now?
The Club has always been an important tournament club, right from its first beginnings. So central to our archives and the Trophies the Club held or holds now. The winners of those trophies, past and present are enumerated in the virtually complete database of competitions and winners since its establishment in Southwick.
Several past members have written histories of the Club at various points in its existence and those are all available here too. We are currently working on bringing these up to the present day.
We also have some on-going research into the earlier club when in Brighton. And we are trying to put more faces to names with details of past members who were important to the clubs achievements.
The current Archivist is Ray Hall, so if yoou have anything of interest relating to the club, please do contact him through the webmaster.
