Image 8 dated 1935

This is completely different from the Croquet Alphabet, containing a group of six caricature croquet players, and, so far as research can discover, not used in any publication. The image is reminiscent, and may be a later worked up version, of the figures on the cover of A Croquet Nonsense Book, 1929 A183 (A144).

Reeves fashion plate board 183 x 268 mm, in better condition than the Alphabet boards with one hole, probably drawing pin, at the extreme top right. There is no wrapping or cover sheet, but there are fragments of gummed paper indicating some sort of attachment. The address (Mount Ararat Road, Richmond) is hand-written by contrast with the stamped address used on the Alphabet boards.
